The Warrumbungle Wheelers Cycling Club was formed on 27 May 2010 evolving from the Warrumbungle Wheelers BUG which started in 2003. The club’s main objective is to encourage people from all over the Warrumbungle shire to participate in both recreational and competitive cycling.
The club organises regular weekend social and training rides as well as monthly cycle rides, and for the more competitive riders there are weekly Wednesday Time Trial and Criteriums. The “Main Event” of the ride calendar is the annual “Tour De Bungles” (April) which features various rides up to 105km on very hilly terrain (you’ll find further details on this website)
